Loraine Bowman Hestand, age 76, of Tompkinsville,
passed away Friday, July 9, 2010 at her home. She was born in Monroe County
on July 15, 1933 to the late Vera Norman Bowman and Herburt Bowman. She was a retired seamstress for Key Industry, a member
of the Tompkinsville First Baptist Church and the wife of Rayburn Hestand. She is survived by her husband Rayburn
Hestand of Tompkinsville, one son and daughter-in-law: Lewis & Stephanie Hestand of Tompkinsville, three daughters and
one son-in-law: Tammie Brown of Glasgow, KY, Bonnie Hestand of Franklin, KY, Lorrie & Michael Clarkson of Tompkinsville,
KY, one brother: Eugene Bowman of Tompkinsville, one sister: Ruth Hodges of Glasgow, KY, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 12 at 1 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow
in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Friends may call at the Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville after 5 PM Sunday.
Family request memorial contributions be made to the family funeral expense.
