Byrna Frances Bewley

Byrna Frances Bewley, age 86, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday February 25, 2010 at the Christian Healthcare Center in Bowling Green, KY.

She was born in Allen County, KY. On June 18, 1923, to the late Samuel Brown and Jewel Wilson Brown. She was married to Drewie “Doc” Bryan Bewley. She was a retired elementary school teacher and a Sunday School teacher.

She is survived by her husband Drewie "Doc" Bryan Bewley of Scottsville. She is also survived by one daughter & son-in-law: Rebecca and Larry Catlett of Ft. Thomas, KY, and one son & daughter-in-law: Bryan and Donna Bewley of Bowling Green, KY, a brother Sam Brown of Birimgham, AL, four grandchildren and three great-grand children.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Olin Brown and Will Herman Brown and two sisters Annice Tracy and Virginia Reed.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 28 at 2:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Scottsville with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at Strode Funeral Home after 3:00PM Saturday, February 27 and after 7:30 AM Sunday February 28.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church or the Allen County Scottsville School System, 5th grade programs.
