IN MEMORY OF: 
Zelma Ferguson Davis

Zelma Ferguson Davis, age 82, of Tompkinsville, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010, at her home. She was born in Monroe Co., KY on June 6, 1928, to the late Radford Ferguson and  Enza Mae “Lady” Ferguson. She was a member of Campground United Methodist Church in Clay Co., TN, a retired homemaker, and the widow of Woody D. Davis, who died December 4,1997. They were married on December 18, 1946, in Glasgow, KY.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Darlene and John David Botts of Tompkinsville; Rita Key of Red Boiling Springs, TN; one sister: Jessie Pearl Hale of Lafayette, TN; 5 grandchildren; 10 Great grandchildren

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Orville, Chester, Cleval, & Mayford Ferguson, a half brother, Estel Ferguson, four sisters, Reba Elease Davis, Nellie Mae Hanks, Mirriell Ferguson, and Edress Thompson, and a half sister, Destie Cross.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 PM at the Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial in the Harlans Crossroads Cemetery.

Friends may call at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville after 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
