Mrs. Eddie Mae Norris Page, age 87, of Tompkinsville, passed
away Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at the Monroe Co. Medical Center in Tompkinsville. She was born in Metcalfe Co., KY on May
7, 1923, to the late James Carl Norris & Annie Russell White Norris. She was a member of the Cyclone Church of Christ,
was a retired garment factory worker & homemaker, and the widow of James Edward Page, with whom she had shared 66 years
of marriage.
She is survived by six sons & daughters-in-law: Eyvind & Shirley Page of Tompkinsville, KY;
James & Michele Page of Crawfordsville, IN; Jackie & Linda Page of Tompkinsville, KY; Jason & Kathy Page of Tompkinsville,
KY; Randy & Channie Page of Tompkinsville, KY; Mikel & Kathy Page of Crossville, TN; two daughters & one son-in-law:
Doris Comer & companion, Michael Turner of Greensburg, KY; Judith & Junior Pitcock of Tompkinsville, KY; one
brother: Preston Norris of Glasgow, KY;
one sister: Ruth Norris Olivaris of Horse Cave, KY; 26 grandchildren;
48 great-grandchildren
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson Chris Page,
and a brother, Stanley Norris.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 PM at the Strode Funeral Home
in Tompkinsville with burial in the Monroe Co. Memorial Lawn.
Friends may call at the Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville
after 2:00 PM Thursday.
The family suggests that memorials be made in the form of a donation to the Page Cemetery.
