IN MEMORY OF:
Harold  Dean McDonald

Harold  Dean McDonald, 71, of Gamaliel, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010,  at the Monroe Co. Medical Center in Tompkinsville. He was born in Nashville, TN, on February 2, 1939, to the late Millard Cleveland McDonald and Beatrice Dyer McDonald.

He was a member of the Gamaliel Baptist Church, and retired from Chrysler after 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife: Carol Short McDonald of Gamaliel, KY;  one son & daughter-in-law: Jeffrey & Mary McDonald of Indianapolis, IN; one daughter: Connie McDonald of Lafayette, TN; f,our sisters: Helen Anderson of California Bliss Miller, Janet Strong and Jo Anna Taylor all of Gamaliel, KY;  Five grandchildren ;  one great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Carl, Cyler, Clayton, & Coin McDonald, and three sisters, Lucy Clemmers, Mattie Klinefelter, and Francis McDonald.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 5, at 1:00 PM at Strode’s Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel, with burial in the Corinth Gardens in Macon Co., TN.

Friends may call at Strode’s Gamaliel Chapel after 2 PM on Tuesday

Memorials are suggested to Corinth Gardens or Gamaliel Baptist Church.
