DON E. CLEVENGER
I
have been in funeral service in the Defiance area the past 20 years. I have enjoyed the Defiance community and am pleased
to have had the opportunity to serve many families over the years. I am a 1986 graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary
Science, and hold an Ohio insurance license. I am a member of both National and Ohio Funeral Directors Associations.
My wife, Christina (Gonzalez) Clevenger, is employed by Paulding Co. Hospital.
Don
passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on the evening of December 11, 2007, leaving an emotional void in our business.
Don was more than a partner or business associate to us …. he was like family. He was an individual who personally
would only accept his “best” when serving a family. As was quoted from the eulogy during his funeral, “If
you or a family member ever had the opportunity to have Don take care of services during a time of need, you can be assured
that you received only the “best” that he could provide.” Many people thought Don was too quiet, but he
actually was a man of many practical jokes behind the scenes. To his wife, Chris, and the rest of his family, we offer
you our utmost sympathy and continued support. Although he may be gone from our sight, his legacy and dedication to
both our business and the families he served will continue on and be remembered.
