Traditional Funeral Services

A Traditional Funeral Service provides families with time for a visitation to share their memories of their loved one and to visit with family and friends.  The funeral service itself helps to provide the closure that many people need to experience during their period of grieving and to honor their loved one.  At Generations Funeral Home, we have spacious visitation rooms, a large versatile chapel, and a comfortable kitchen and lounge area for families to utilize.  All of our facilities are handicapped accessible, and we have ample parking. 

Same-Day Funeral Services

Our Same-Day Funeral Services allow for visitation and a funeral service the same as our Traditional Funeral Services; however, these services are performed in one morning and afternoon.  This allows families a more affordable option without sacrificing many of the aspects of a Traditional Funeral Service.  Direct Burial is also offered in which burial takes place immediately.  The family may then choose to have a memorial service or visitation sometime after the burial. 

Cremation Services

We also offer Cremation Services at Generations Funeral Home.  A cremation service may range from a Traditional Funeral Service with cremation taking place after the funeral and before final disposition to a direct cremation in which the deceased is cremated without any visitation or funeral service.  Families may also choose to have cremation with a memorial service or visitation with or without the cremains present here at our facilities or at their desired location.  We offer economical packages that provide for a rental casket. 

Pre-Arrangement Services

Many people fear making funeral arrangements; but pre-arrangement can help relieve the stress, uncertainty, and some of the emotions associated with funerals.  Anyone can come to the funeral home and record basic information that is needed for funeral services, plan his or her funeral exactly by picking types of services and merchandise for their funeral, or both.  By planning ahead, a person can be sure his or her wishes are known and that the family will be less inclined to experience emotional spending.  Contrary to some misconceptions, there are no costs associated with pre-planning.  Those who do pre-plan have the option of pre-funding the funeral through life insurance or trust plans.  When you pre-fund your funeral, the goods and services selected are guaranteed.  (Click here to learn more about pre-arrangements.)
