18th Annual Hart County, Kentucky Amish CONSIGNMENT
AUCTION Saturday, April 10th, 9:00 A.M. CDT
NEW LOCATION:
Hart County Produce Auction Building, 6880 Cub Run Hwy (Hwy 88). Take I-65 to Munfordville exit
(Exit 65), Hwy. 31-W South to Cub Run Hwy (Hwy 88), west 7 miles to auction site. Stay on Hwy 88 past Logsdon
Valley Road to auction site. Signs posted.
ALL FARMERS AND
DEALERS INVITED TO CONSIGN OR BUY: Consignment items should be delivered to the sale site from 8:00 A.M. to
5:00 P.M. on Thursday or Friday 8:30 A.M. on sale day. Consignors are responsible for
making sure all items are properly checked in, tagged and numbered. All persons consigning small animals
must provide cages, coops or boxes. We will be using a Number System; please obtain number upon arrival.
All items sold privately on grounds subject to commission. Dealers who wish to set up on grounds
should make prior arrangements with sale committee. We will not consign hand guns or ammunition.
Chicken & ducks need to be tested if they come from out of state.
WE ARE EXPECTING CONSIGNMENTS OF: Gas engines; hay balers; hay bines; corn pickers; JD mowers; IH mowers;
corn planters; sulky plows; walking plows; riding cultivators; discs; harrows; grain drills; harness; horse eveners; neck
yokes; double trees; new and used hand tools; household items; antiques & collectibles; primitives; assortment of carriage
bolts; many other misc. items. Tractors w/belt power welcome. Crafts made by members
of the Amish community will be offered for sale. Tack & harness sold at noon, followed by horses and
furniture
COMMISSION: 20%
on items $30.00 and under 15% on items $30.01-$250.00 10% on items $250.01-$500.00 8% on items $500.01 & over (max. commission $150.00 per item) 5% No-Sale Fee (max. no sale fee $15.00 per item) $10.00-No Sale fee on horses (Coggins tests
& health papers required on all horses)
TERMS: Cash or check w/ID.
Buyers not known to sale committee must have current letter of credit. No checks paid out to consignors
that are less than $5.00. Settlement from sales will be 10-12 banking days. The
sale committee is acting as agent only; all guarantees are strictly between buyer and seller; sale committee reserves the
right to refuse any consignment. We will run two or more sales rings at the same time. Sale
